Homemade Garam Masala

Ingredients: (Makes 1 1/2 cups)

Black Cardamom- 100 gm.

Bay Leaf- 8 leaves

Cinnamon- 10 gm.

Cumin- 150 gm.

Cloves- 10 gm.

Black Peppercorn- 50 gm.

Method:

Bring all the ingredients together in a clean and dry spice grinder or a coffee grinder. Grind to a powder. Store in a cool dry place.

NOTE:- To enhance the flavors dry the whole spices completely either out in the sun for 4-5 hours or lightly toast it on a clean dry pan.
