Smooth, creamy and satiny steamed bread custard or flan, drenched in a divine caramel sauce
Ingredients:
For the Caramel sauce:
½ cup sugar
3 tsp water
For the bread pudding/custard:
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence/extract
500 ml milk
1 cup sugar
4 slices of bread (white or brown; my slices were big, so I used only 4; if small you can use more)
