Green Mango Rava Dhokla

Green mango rava dhokla is a tangy and little spicy dhokla made with rava, green mango, green chilli and it’s perfect for breakfast or evening snack. Rava which is also known as sooji or semolina. Rava is made up of durum wheat which means it keeps you full for a longer period of time and prevents you from overeating. Rava is digested very slowly which increases your chances of shedding more fat. Whereas, Green mangoes contain an acid which helps ease digestion and control constipation.

For Dhokla Batter:
Rava – 1 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Eno – 1 tsp
Juice of one lemon
Salt to taste
Green Mango puree:
Green mango – 1 medium size
Water – 1/2 cup
Green Chilli – 1
Handful of coriander leaves
Tempering :
Rai – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1/2 tbsp
White sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
Water – 4 tbsp
Kadi Patta – 5-6 leaves
