Yellow Rice prepared with left over rice by using simple home spices
Ingredients:
1 or 2 bowl of left over cooked rice
1 onion minutely sliced
2 green chillies chopped slicely
1 cup of green peas
1 teaspoon of Haldi
5 to 10 curry leaves
1 teaspoon of channa dal, urad dal
1 teaspoon of jeera
1 teaspoon of minute sliced ginger
Salt as per the taste
Method:
Take a kadai and add oil, once the oil is heated then add jeera, green chillies, channa dal, urad dal for 2 minutes.
Add onions and green peas and allow it to turn golden brown. Add salt and haldi and mix the mixture well for 2 minutes
Add the left over cooked rice in the mixture and mix well and keep the flame in low and allow to cook for 5 minutes
Close the flame and take the yellow rice in a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves
