Kidney beans and whole yellow peas are good source of fiber ,lean protein,and low in fat.They also reduce cholesterol level. Most importantly they are gluten-free food.This recipe is easy to make.I have used sweet peppery sauce to cook this recipe.Yellow peas have got very unique flavour which I love.You can get yellow peas from any Indian shop.
Ingredients:
Half cup of whole yellow peas soaked and boiled(after soaking, peas goes larger in volume)
Half cup of red kidney beans soaked and boiled (after soaking, beans goes larger in volume)
One whole red pepper
3 tomatoes
3 large cloves
1 inch ginger root
One green chili
One tea spoon cumin seeds
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 and half tea spoon of coriander powder
1 tea spoon of cumin powder
Half tea spoon of garam masala
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Olive oil or any oil
1 tea spoon of sugar
