Indori poha

If you want to have something very light and Super delicious Breakfast in this Sunday Morning, Nothing can beat except this delicious Indore style Poha. 🙂

Ingredients:

21/2 Cup Poha, Flatten Rice2 Tbsp Oil1 tsp Mustard seeds1/2 tsp Cumin seeds1 tsp Fennel Seeds1 Tbsp Peanuts1 Onion, chopped1/2 tsp Grated Ginger2, Green chilies, Finely chopped7-8 Curry leaves1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder1/2 tsp Red chili powderSalt to taste1 Tbsp Sugar2 Tbsp Coriander leaves,for garnishing Chopped onion, Pomegranate, Loads of Coriander leaves

Method:

1. Wash Poha 3 times, drain and set aside until ready to use and mix salt and Sugar to the poha itself, So Sugar can be mix with the poha.2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and once they start to splutter add Peanuts and saute them for a minute Then add onions, green chilies and curry leaves. Cook until onions turns little brown.3. Next add Fennel Seeds, Grated Ginger, turmeric Powder, Red chili Powder and saute for few seconds.4. Add the poha and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.5. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with chopped Coriander leaves.Serve immediately with Hot Cup of Coffee or Tea in this Sunday Morning, garnish it with some chopped Onions, Pomegranate, Coriander leaves and yes, If you have some Ratlami Sev…Nothing can beat to this Sunday morning breakfast.
