Spinach and Broccoli Cracked Wheat (Broken Wheat/Daliya) Pilaf

A really quick and easy recipe using cracked wheat/Daliya! A great way to include some vegetables and whole grains πŸ™‚ You can easily adapt this recipe by using only spinach, broccoli or even add in other veggies or other whole grains like quinoa! Cheers to healthy eating!!

Ingredients:

150 grams spinach
150 grams broccoli
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) – divided
1/2 jalapeΓ±o
Handful of cilantro
1/3 cup green peas
2/3 cup broken/cracked wheat
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp red chili powder (optional – for extra heat)
