Amritsari Fish Fry Recipe is a crisp, golden, deep fried fish preparation from Punjab. Fish Fry is our everyday comfort food when the spine-chilling winter breeze quietly creeps into the house as the sun set down.

Ingredients:

500 gram king fish (surmai) fillets cut into small pieces
1 Cup gram flour (besan)
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon wheat flour
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry the fish
Ingredients to be grind
1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
6 – 8 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
Ingredients to serve
1 tsp chaat masala
Juice of 1 lemon
