It almost embarrasses me when someone asks me for tips or advice on photography because I know very little about the word "Photography". My husband is the photographer in the family or at least he's the one who buys all these fancy gadgets and reads thick photography tomes. I was the 'point n shoot' type until my daughter was born and I started cheating on my husband. I started stealing his Canon 5D which no one is ever allowed to do and started taking pictures. The pictures slowly started coming out nice and then better and this blog plays a major role in the process.

I usually use Canon 50mm f1.4 lens and photograph in natural light. I have not really tried my hand at studio lighting. I do, however, use reflectors at times. So far, I have not run into an extended period of bad natural/available light but I am planning to buy some studio lights to see if that would make my life easier – will let you know when I get one.
