Lemonade with an Indian twist
•Juice of 6 Meyer lemons
•500 ml cold water plus ice
•1/3 cup agave nectar or (make sugar syrup by boiling 1/3 cup sugar in 1/2 cup water, use as needed)
•1 teaspoon cumin powder
•1/4 teaspoon black salt
1.Place water in a jug or any container..
2.Extract the juice of the lemons. Add it to the water.
3.Throw in cumin powder, black salt and agave nectar or sugar syrup.
4.Stir well to combine.
5.Add more water if needed.
6.Fill a glass with ice and pour the jaal jeera drink and serve cold
1.You replace water with Sprite or 7-up
2.Add muddled mint leaves for added flavor
